This is especially true in the High Plains, where each year we meticulously prepare for seasonal grain harvests by prepositioning locomotives in key areas, upgrading our locomotives with the latest technology, investing in capacity expansions and maintenance, and running the youngest and largest fleet of covered hoppers in the country. In addition, BNSF is the only major railroad that has an Ag Development team dedicated to addressing the needs of growers and agricultural customers across the country. This year, as every year, we’re working hard to be the best transportation partner for the High Plains agricultural community.
